Regardless of the topic, the three main thrusts of Biblical Discipleship Ministries are:

  • Evangelizing the lost, because God is "not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance" II Peter 3:9, I Tim 4:10
  • Discipling the believer to become "a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth" II Tim 2:15
  • Equipping God's people to "be ready to make a defense, to give an account of the hope within" I Peter 3:15

The desired result of Biblical Discipleship is the truth of Colossians 1:10 :

  • walking worthy of the Lord
  • pleasing Him in all respects
  • bearing fruit in every good work
  • increasing in the knowledge of God

The Martins also maintain an active ministry through the guest house adjacent to their home, where they have hosted friends, ministers, missionaries and church groups from all over the world.
